Domestic companies wishing to participate in the Paks II investment have had the opportunity to use the services of the Business Information Point operating in the Paks Industrial Park for two years now, since August 6, 2020.
The Office provides information to Hungarian companies about the Paks II investment and the basic conditions on how to become a supplier. Companies wishing to register are awaited by the well-prepared staff with continuous tender monitoring, personal and online consultations, and information materials. During its everyday operation, the office also monitors the experience and good practices of foreign nuclear power plant constructions; information extracted this way is also harnessed in the activities of the Office.
Over the past two years, more than 150 businesses registered with the Office. The number of procurements announced by the Russian general contractor exceeded 500. More than 200 domestic entrepreneurs were announced as the winners of past procurement procedures.
So far continuous interest was shown in the services provided by the Business Information Point from domestic small and medium-sized enterprises as well as large companies. Visitors of the Office come from the immediate region and remote parts of the country, all expressing their interest in the Paks II investment and the possibilities of getting involved.
