The Municipality of Paks and PIP Nonprofit Ltd. provide assistance since January 2020 within the framework of „Paks Open Gates” tender ID number 2.2.16/7-2019-00001, regarding the integration of third-country nationals that come for employment purposes or are fleeing the war. 33 trilingual signposts will be installed on both banks of the Danube in 21 settlements of the Central Danube Circle between the Dunaföldvár bridge and Szekszárd bridge.
The signposts provide general information about the region, as well as display the institutions, cultural and natural attractions of the settlements. Third-country nationals can find information in English and Russian about administration, health care, cultural attractions, transport services and places of religious practise of the region on the signs.
Installation of the signposts began on September 28 and is expected to be finished by mid-October.
